Hello, I was interested in having a cabinet made for a diy 5 watt amplifier. I just completed it and am searching for a cabinet builder I have photos with dimensions. Thank you. Aaron Gutierrez

Hello. Sorry for the delay in response. We are in the process of making a real website and i haven’t been checking in on the tumblr as much. It’s really cool that you built your own amp. All the books out there can’t teach you as much about tube amps as building one yourself. Yeah, we could build you a cabinet for it. You can email directly blacksheepamps@gmail,com or call (919) 219-6536. And feel free ask questions if you have any trouble with it.

And then there were two.

i should have said this sometime ago, but black sheep amps is no longer a solo thing for me. My friend/bandmate Ashley Arnwine has joined in to handle the wood work, tolex and cab building. She’s going to teach me how to not cut your fingers off on the table saw and i’m going to teach her how to not electrocute your self on the capacitors. We both share the same ethic of not doing things the way that other folks do them and have some amp and cab designs that will hopefully be out in early 2014. Get in touch with her or i if you need any crazy thing amp thing built and want it done by Philly’s best drummer/covered in german spitz hair.

Amp of the week: Supro model 35. Replaced preamp tubes, rebuilt reverb tank, three prong cord and cleaned. This is my first time working on/playing an amp with rca 6973 output tubes and they sound amazing.
